The organizers of the 12th Annual Conference of the European Society of International Law (ESIL) would like to both congratulate those selected to be agora speakers at this year’s Conference- and also to remind them that the deadline for the submission of their full papers is 1 July, 2016.
The caliber of proposals, and thus the level of competition, was very high this year; out of about 200 abstracts, the agora selection committees chose 41 for inclusion in the Conference.

Full papers should contain the main ideas, reasoning and conclusions of the author. Papers may have a maximum of 5,000-6,000 words (approx. 10-15 pages, including footnotes) but can be shorter.

Note that papers competing for the ESIL Young Scholar Prize (YSP) should have a length between 8,000-12,000 words (including footnotes). Again, please use the OSCOLA citation guidelines.
